This competition originated in Japan and aims to carry classical ballet into the future while cherishing its traditional spirit and style.
This competition was created in honor of Marius Petipa, the great father of ballet. His name has the power to connect ballet dancers all over the world. He was a highly significant figure who established the foundations of classical ballet and shaped the traditions of Russian ballet
